Rob Van Dam, RVD, his name just oozes wrestling ability and the man is like a myth to the sport. He is just a few years younger than The Undertaker, who has incredible pull for fans around the world.

But Rob provides something different, his legs are second to none, he can do the splits, both ways! And can pull of moves that men half his age wouldn’t dare try.

He is also the only triple crown champion in the history of wrestling, being the only man to hold the WWE, ECW and TNA world titles as well as holding many other championships.

He is currently a five time Intercontinental Champion, but on this day 12 years ago RVD defeated the late great Eddie Guerrero in a ladder match on an episode of Raw to win the belt.

Also on this day…

In 1982 – Former Divas Champion Natalya was born.

Wow… this is a good reason why he needs to pack it up. He’s the same guy from 12 years ago… but slower and just less interesting. I love him and all, but I’ve loved him for 15 or 20 years. Its time for him to get off my TV.

    Happy birthday Natty.
